April 2012

Happy 6th Birthday Alyssa!!!  She woke up to pancakes, one of her favorites!

After breakfast I let Alyssa go in the basement and see the decorations for her Ariel "Under the Sea" party.  She was so excited!

There was "Pin the Crown on Ariel" game.

The each got to decorate their own crown.  This table turned out so cute.  I took 2 fish bowls and put pink sand and sea shells on the bottom.  In the background I pinned a fishing net in the corner with some shells and a star fish glued.  I hung paper sea shells on the windows and I hung sea weed on the ceiling.  I also taped water looking plastic to around the walls and taped fish, sea turtles, sharks, etc. on the water.  I also had Little Mermaid music playing. Turned out so cute, despite all the time put into it!

The kids got to fish with a princess pole.  They threw it over the water and on the other side (we have an unfinished basement) Will hooked on a little bag of Swedish Fish and a Little Mermaid Squinkie.

Yes, you're seeing correctly- 22 kids at Alyssa's party!  It's amazing we survived!  Alyssa just kept inviting kids and I couldn't uninvite them, but thankfully it turned out great and we were glad to have them.

Alyssa's Ariel cake.  I did not make it this year due to the exceeding amount of time spent doing her party...

One of Alyssa's friend's, Rosie, gave this darling bowl filled with things to make homemade doughnuts, which was such a darling idea!

After Alyssa's party we took her and the fam to McDonald's for dinner.

Tyler had a little too much fun with ketchup- I never did get those stains out! :)

Happy Easter!  We had a community Easter egg hunt at our park on Saturday.

One of our friend's had a birthday party at a gym.

Easter Day!  We had an Easter egg hunt in our backyard.

Having fun at Chuck E. Cheese's.

Nicole's preschool fieldtrips at Thanksgiving Point Farm.  Here is Nicole and her cute friend, Mia, holding hands.
