November Pics

The picture of Alyssa with her arm around Nicole in bed is my favorite picture of the two girls. Alyssa put her arm around Nicole all on her own because she is such a sweet sister!

October Pics

In the month of October we were able to go to the Scarecrow Festival at Thanksgiving Point, which for the most part was really fun. The only thing that made it not as enjoyable as it could have been was that Alyssa went missing for about 6 minutes. She took off when we weren't looking for a few seconds. We all split up looking for her and during my panic BYU basketball player Shawn Bradley, who was working there at the time, got Alyssa's description from me. He told me to stay with him and put out the search. Alyssa was found on the complete opposite end of the park from us, running gleefully towards the blow-up slides. When I was told that Alyssa had been found I broke down sobbing from relief. It was the scariest 6 minutes of my life. On a more cheerful note, Alyssa was a butterfly and Nicole was a Tootsie Roll for Halloween :)

Princess Alyssa

Alyssa went to her first birthday party today and all the girls were supposed to dress as princesses. Alyssa dressed as Cinderella and looked so beautiful!

Will's 30th Birthday!

Will turned 30 on September 12th and wasn't looking forward to leaving his 20's, but I still think he looks young and is the hottest man alive! We went to the Happy Sumo for sushi (well, he was the only one who ordered it) and ate cake and ice cream at Grandpa Whitaker's home.

Fun at the Zoo!

We took Alyssa and Nicole to the zoo a couple of weeks a go and had a blast! Nicole slept the whole time, so there are no pictures of her. Alyssa kept asking us for the funniest things, including: "Climb up on the zebra's back? Give the bear a kiss? Give the tiger a hug?" In addition, she also had the opportunity to pet some animals and for some reason didn't understand why she couldn't kiss the snake :) Sorry I posted 3 of the pictures with Alyssa measuring herself by the gorilla, but she looked so cute in all of them I couldn't resist...
